Magic for
your memories!

I grew up sipping herbal tea with my mom—although I definitely didn’t like it at first! Over the years, tea became one of our favorite traditions and gave me a love for those little moments that make life feel special.

Years later, I attended my first fairy tea with my niece and fell in love with the magic of it all. But it took on a deeper meaning after our youngest daughter was born with a complicated medical diagnosis. Just weeks after bringing her home from a long NICU stay, I took her—oxygen, feeding tubes and all—to a fairy tea at Thanksgiving Point.

For a few hours, life simply felt beautiful.

That experience inspired our family to start our own annual fairy tea. What began as a “little” project quickly turned into giant flowers, fairy houses, butterflies, and more. (Apparently, I’m not very good at little projects!)

Eventually, those creations made their way beyond our fairy teas and into birthdays, showers, weddings, quinceañeras, pageants, and all kinds of celebrations.

That’s what I love most about Fables and Flowers—helping create a little bit of magic in real life. The flowers may only be there for a day, but the memories made around them can last forever.
